Airfried Hot Wings

Craving American Deli, but don’t want the guilt that comes with it? This is the perfect recipe for you! They are super easy to make. The airfryer does a perfect job with keeping the moisture in the chicken while making the skin crispy. 10/10 recommend. Happy cooking!

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Cook Time: 15 minutes

Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

  • 1 lb wingettes

  • Salt

  • 1c Frank’s RedHot Buffalo Wing’s Hot Sauce

  • 1 tbsp honey

  • 1 tbsp salted butter

Instructions

  1. Wash Chicken: Begin by washing and patting the chicken dry with paper towels.

  2. Season Chicken: Next, season with salt to taste.

  3. Air Fry Chicken: Next grease air fryer with vegetable oil and line chicken in air fryer. Air fry at 400°F for 30-40 minutes until golden brown, flipping halfway through. 

  4. Prep Sauce: While the chicken is cooking, place the saucepan on low heat and melt butter. Once butter is melted, whisk in honey and hot sauce. 

  5. Broil Wings: Preheat the oven to broil at 500°F. Once the chicken is done, butter a baking sheet or casserole dish. Next, dip each wing into hot sauce mixture and place onto the dish. Broil for 2-3 minutes on each side or until sauce is caramelized onto the wing on each side. Remove from heat and serve with celery and blue cheese or ranch.
