Steamed Broccoli

Ingredients:

  • 3 crowns of broccoli, cut into florets

  • ½ lemon

  • Salt

  • 1 tbsp butter, optional

  1. Boil and Salt Water: Fill the pot with 2 inches of water and place on high heat. Add a pinch of salt to the water.

  2. Add Broccoli: Once it begins to boil, add broccoli and cover the pot. Cook on high heat for four minutes, then remove from boiling water.

  3. Rinse and Serve: Rinse with cold water, then transfer to bowl and add butter and lemon juice.
